Veterinarian Needed:
Halifax County Veterinary Center is seeking a new team member. We offer a great work-life balance with no emergency call and a 4-day work week. We have a great team that is fun to work with and offer one on one mentorship. So, if you want to enjoy coming to work each day, are able to share the hard work and feel tired, but accomplished at the end of the day, we might be a good fit. If you think palpating cows in the morning, neutering a dog before lunch, and working up a couple of GI case would be a good day, you might be who we are looking for. If pulling a calf, learning to manage trauma, and discussing preventative care all in the same day sounds fun, our practice is for you. If you think that discussing the size of an abscess you lanced is just what you talk about at dinner then you would fit in well HCVC. We work on predominantly dogs/cats and beef cattle so if cover alls and muck boots over scrubs covered in dog hair with a small amount of drool is our typical dress code.
